| Nano magnesium oxide (MgO) powders, with excellent crystallinity, pure crystal phase and small particles, have been prepared in this paper by using three kinds of method, viz. depositing method (collodion, carbowax, starch acted as surface active agent), sol-gel (citric acid,urea,glycine acted as complexant), and solid phase reaction with different grinding time. The structure and properties of the nano MgO powders were also characterized by TG, XRD, SEM and FT-IR. Antibacterial method has been employed to explore the antibacterial function of nano powders against Staphylococcus aureus and Colibacillus in order to acquiring better appropriated synthetic method of nano MgO powders. The results proved that nano MgO powders obtained from the solid phase reaction possesses sharp antibacterial function. In addition, nano MgO films were also been prepared by sol-gel dip-coating method with Mg(NO3)2·6H2O serving as reaction predecessor. The best technological conditions of Mg2+ concentration (0.075mol/L), volume ratio of Mg2+/collodion (7:3), peptization time (30 h), pulling velocity (80mm/min), sintering temperature (500℃), and sintering time (30 min) were tested by considerate research. Simultaneously, the prepared nano MgO films were additionally characterized by AFM and XRD. |
