It has been indicated that chromium(â…¢) complexes is the most important component of glucose tolerance factor, and is thought to be a necessary micro-element in normal carbohydrate and lipid metabolism by potentiating the action of insulin. Choosing suitable ligands is very important for designing the structure of the chromium complexes and modulating the biochemical properties. Special schiff base and some small molecular ligands, for example 2,6-dipicolinic acid(H2DPA) and 8-hydroxyquinoline(HQ), have good biological activities and strong coordination ability, their complexes with transition metal have anti-tumour, catalyzer, inhibiting bacteria and other functions. In this paper, we synthesized some new chromium(â…¢) complexes, investigated their crystal structures and characterized their spectral properties. And the interaction between the chromium(â…¢) complexes with calf thymus DNA(Ct-DNA) have been investigated by absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and viscosity measurements. This thesis consists of five chapters and the main contents as follows:In the first chapter, a review was presented, in which mainly introduced the basic knowledges of DNA, the research progress of chromium complexes with DNA interaction, and s the modes of the interaction between metal complexes and DNA.In the second chapter, synthesis of ligands and complexes. Schiff base and some small molecular ligands, for example H2DPA and HQ, have good biological activities and strong coordination ability, have important applicatios in bioinorganic chemistry and pharmacy. The coordination, properties and applications of were briefly introduced in this chapter. The biological activities and pharmacological activity of schiff base, H2DPA and HQ with their complexes were described. More than ten kinds of schiff base ligands and three kinds of chromium(â…¢) complexes were synthesized. In addition, we also discussed the synthesis conditions of ligands and complexes. In the third chapter, the crystal structures and characterization of ligands and complexes. The components and properties of ligands and complexes were analyzed by IR, UV-Vis and fluorescence spectra, and the structure of one ligand and three complexes were measured by X-ray single crystal diffraction..In the forth chapter,The interaction study of Ct-DNA with chromium(â…¢) complexes. The interaction of Ct-DNA with three kinds of chromium(â…¢) complexes were investigated by absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and viscosity measurements. In the fifth chapter, conclusions and outlooks. This chapter summarized the main contents and done some maginations to ours future works. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Chromium(â…¢) complexes, Schiff base, 2,6-dipicolinic acid, 8-hydroxyquinoline, Cleavage DNA activity, Crystal structures, Calf thymus DNA | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
