With the development of digital control technology, digital control was used more widely in power electronics, and has replaced the analog control technology partially. One of the development trends of power electronics is the changing of control method from analog to digital. In order to reduce the development cycle, this dissertation designs a digital control platform for a series of power electronic circuits. Proposes a set of software design methods for the digital control of the power electronic system and applies the digital control system to some actual circuits.The dissertation introduces the situation of the trends and studies of the control of power electronic, and on this basis talk about the content of this paper.According to the characteristics of the power electronics, the dissertation studies the hardware and software requirements of the digital control system for most of the power electronic circuits, and then designs and produces a digital control platform based on the TMS320LF2407A DSP.This paper then designs a three-stage DSP demo system based on the digital control platform produced. On the basis of main circuits designed, the paper sets up a small-signal model, gives the parameters of PI compensation, and prepares the software of its digital control. The experimental results have been given to verify the design.The dissertation finally designs a digital control system for HID lamp ballasts; makes up a small- signal model based on the studies of the main power circuits, and then draw the parameters of PI compensation for different stage of the lamp. The software for control is designed.
