Abstract/Summary:
CA/PAN composite ultrafiltration membranes were prepared by phase reverse method using nano-Al2O3 as additives.The composition of casting solution and membrane forming condition were studied.HCl solution and alcohole solution of NaOH were used to modify the membrane.The concentration of nano-Al2O3 were changed while considering the casting solution.Composition and visicosity of casting solution,contact angle,mechanical performance,water flux and rejection of BSA solution were studied. The temperature of water bath and sodiumdodecylsulfate(SDS) concentration in the bath were changed while considering the membrane forming condition and the concentration of NaOH and HCI solution were changed while considering modifing process.Experiment results showed that the additives of nano-Al2O3 increased the viscosity and the membrane process became much easier.Increasing the concentration of nano-Al2O3, the contact angle decreased- hydrophily increased.The tensile strenth and breaking elongation increased-the mechanical property improved.The pores and factor of porosity increased firstly and then decreased.The flux increased and rejection decreased.Under some temperatures pores,factor of porosity and flux increased by improving temperatures and the rejection decreased.Proper addition of SDS can improve rejection and flux of membrane.After modified by NaOH alcohohole solution,the mechnical property decreased and the result was not good.When modified by HCl solution the flux decreased.The rejection and antifouling property improved.
