Hydraulic Projects bring great benefit on ensuring welfare and advancing economic development. However ,Stresses of hydraulic projects on river ecosystems couldn't be ignored, because of river ecosystems closely linking with mankind's manufacture and living . Multi-Objective Ecological operations of reservoirs are important compensative management methods. The limitations of the measures are taken in current reservoir operations .Ecological requirement could be considered on charts of profited operations . These measures include eight aspects, one is water demands for the basic ecological functions of downstream river channel of reservoirs. the water demands have many conceptions, up to now certain concept is lack. Environmental and ecological water consumption of river systems is excessive applied. This article discussed environmental and ecological water consumption of downstream river channel of Huaxi reservoir and calculated the lowest ecological water demand by a few of ways to offer reference for giving the lowest flows of the reservoir. The reason of reservoirs eutrophication and it's relation with operations of reservoirs are analyzed in the article ,and conclusion is that control about reservoirs eutrophication can be considered and could be applied on ecological operations of reservoirs.
