Mirror-like silver has been widely used many fields, such as high-bright print-inks because of their excellent mirror effect.Based on introduction of the function, application and preparation methods of aluminum pigments, the prepared process of nano-flake aluminum powders, especially separation of aluminum film from releasable organic film and smash of aluminum slurry, have been studied according to a new technology, which is called as releasable organic films-transition technology, is different from traditional ball milling process.The separation of aluminum film can be devided into three steps as follow, solvent-diffusion, resin-dissolution and aluminum film-separation. Pilot plant for aluminium film separation was designed based on literatures and small experiments above. It is found that acetone is an effective solvent for the separation of aluminum film from releasable organic film. Ultrasonic treatment is helpful for the separation of aluminum film. And it is found that when residence-time in acetone is as long as 20 seconds and electric current of ultrasonic treatment 1A, 28m aluminum film can be effectively separated with 1Kg acetone.Ultrasonic treatment and vigorous stirring were applied for further smash of powder and the result shows that both methods can be used for further smash. The effect of smashing parameters on the diameter and shape of flake aluminum powder in high-speed dispersive machinery was investigated. When mixed solvent was used as smashing agent, running rate controlled at 2000rpm, solid content varied in the range of 6%~8% and smashing time changed around 12min, mirror-like flake aluminum powder with mean diameter d50 9.117μm and width of size distribution 1.225, can be obtained.Mirror-like print that used nano-flake aluminum pigment was compared with overseas samples. The luster and covering of mirror-like silver are more excellent than overseas samples.The smash of nanoscale flake aluminum powder was discussed, which can be divided into three steps. At the same time, flat-smash model was put forward.
