Yunnan Province , China has rich reserves of zinc resources, most of them are complex and intractable sulfide mineral zinc oxide and zinc mineral processing , which makes it difficult to recover the valuable ore elements economically by traditional flotation or metallurgy.With the increase of low grade ores , the enhancement of environmental awareness of the world and the change in people' s investment concept, the development of easy-processing, low-cost, low-pollution mineral processing techniques is inevitalbly required in the future development of mineral Processing.How to utilize lead zinc oxide ore and how to improve mineral separation indices and increase economic benefits arouse people' s more attention. It has become an important subject of mineral industrial and scientific research.The paper analyses the property and the ore deposit genesis of lead zinc oxide ore and other aspects clearly, and compares lead zinc oxide ore here and abroad in zinc oxide ore mineral separation methods, techniques and research fields .This paper aims at studying the property of zinc oxide ore in Lu Dian, Zhao Tong city. Technique mineralogy research demonstrates: The ingredients in zinc ore are complex, mostly exists in the form of smithsonite and hemimorphite. Other zinc minerals are only 3.5%, zinc ore oxidation rate is 98%. Ore structure is loose, friable and easily generates secondary sludge. Clay slime is a serious Refractory zinc oxide ores. According to the specific conditions and mine test requirements, the ore processing method focuses on the flotation method. A variety of collector studies have been made and a better collector is prepared; Based on the actual condition of the mine, an easier experimental flowsheet has been chosen, that is, two-time roughing, one-time cleaning and two - time scavenging.From the nature and characteristics of the ore, the ore containing a lot of calcite and dolomite is found. After broken, because of the existence of calcite and dolomite, primary crushing and secondary crushing were adopted. The mine contains a large amount of slime, the shaking table to take out slime has been first used, but significant concentration can' t be got and the effect was not obvious. Through the grinding fineness test, the grinding fineness of 85% can be determined and have better flotation effect. Then a common test was carried out with conventional reagent and flotation .The effects of conventional collector and self-made collector were compared by flotation experiments . The result shows that the effect was obtained by using the new collector NW-1.We know, 18 amines and 18 amine acetate can be very good collector of Zinc oxide, but in the tests, we did not get desired results by using them as collector.The amount of sulfidizer and depressant type for the selection and the combination of the ratio test have been studied in this paper. Sodiu hexamet aphosphate used as a depression agent is more effective than the use of sodium silicate and their combination and the slime can be depressed very well at the same time. Because the industrial ball mill may cause some ores over-grinding, The flotation effect was explored under the circumstances of ultra—fine grinding, and the result indicates that we could ensure flotation effects during the grinding fineness of 96%. The effect of temperature on the efficiency of flotation tests was investigated by lowing flotation temperature and the results shows that the desired effect can be also obtained in low temperature condition.Through a series of laboratory tests , the zinc concentrate grade is 40. 67 % and recovery is 79. 37% by using conventional collector , zinc concentrate grade is 41.34% and recovery is 84.47% by using new collector (NW - 1). Therefore, the new collector is better than conventional collector to zinc oxide ore in Lu Dian mine. |
