In order to ensure the uniform space between cathode and anode when they are in electro-groove, to attain the better quality of cathode copper and raising production efficiency, verticality of the cathode and anode must be well. So it is very necessary to straighten the Copper starting sheet to acquire the better verticality, this paper adopt the roller type straightening machine to straighten the Copper starting sheet by analysis and comparison according to the material and structure characteristic of Copper starting sheet .It is a complex course directly to straighten Copper starting sheet, which including geometric nonlinear, material nonlinear, contact nonlinear and so on, therefore the numerical simulation of the straightening is concerned with many subjects. The critical problems of this subject are as follows: How to establish the mathematics model which contains various factors as well as considering corresponding boundary condition and initial condition, how to select suitable yield criterion, and select suitable parameter of straightening machine according to calculation precision and design demand. By numerical simulation and contrast analysis to seek more optimum straightening parameter, to raise straightening precision reach straightening purpose, which make great effort to satisfy the requirement for electrolysis technology.The main study object of this paper is roller type straightening machine which as a part of the production line to process copper electrolysis cathode. On the basis of material mechanics and elastic-plastic curved theory, analyse the stress, strain, elastic-plastic curved torque and related curvatures of plate when the plate generate elastic-plastic curve, which provides solid theory foundation for the research work of this paper. MATLAB have been applied to program related program to calculate press curved rate, residual curvature, the number of rollers and displacements of pressing down from three kinds of straightening scheme-big deformation straightening, little deformation straightening and big-little deformation straightening scheme. By analysis and comparison of press curved rate, residual curvature and the number of rollers, big-little deformation straightening scheme have been adopted at last and got correspondingly press curved rate and the number of rollers to straighten the original curvature of Copper starting sheet. The simulation models of straightening roller and starting sheet have been established by finite element software ANSYS, and imitated the straightening process of straightening Copper starting sheet by computer, have calculated deformed ground and stress ground when starting sheet is being straightened and have been straightened through given different straightening parameters.Taking bending curvature residual rate and the biggest residual stress as appraisement criterion when the straightening have been completed, orthogonal factor law is adopted to study the influence of different straightening parameter for straightening effect, getting the best straightening parameter combination at last, which provides reference for the design and development of the straightening machine for enterprise, and have certain practical value and production guidance meaning. |
