It is important to detect the quality of tobacco leaf with chemical method. But the chemical analysis would spend much of time,and it is a heavy work. So the near infrared spectroscopy method is used to analyze the chemical ingredients of the leaf more and more,with the advantages of convenient, efficient,low cost,non-pollution,nondestructive to the leaf,and testing many groups simultaneous.In this research,we test the contents of different chemistry ingredients (total sugars,nicotine,total nitrogen,chloride,potassium)of the sample tobacco leaf repeatedly,and calculate the average value of contents of different ingredients as the true value,firstly.Then we measure near infrared spectroscopy of the leaf,secondly.The relationship models between the true value of contents of different ingredients and near infrared spectroscopy curves can be constructed,thirdly.The models are named Near Infrared Spectroscopy Testing Item Models.Using the models,we can calculate the contents of different chemistry ingredients through the curves of near infrared spectroscopy,without chemistry test.The models can be perfected through increasing different kinds of samples of tobacco leaf year after year.Five test models are founded in this research.In the models,indexes of mean squared deviation of total sugars,nicotine,total nitrogen,chloride, potassium are 0.876%,0.107%,0.119%,0.0598%,0.168%;correlation coefficients are 88.5%,98.9%,94.88%,95.17%,83.35%respectively.
