With the modern automobile industry development at full speed, more and more metal component is being replaced gradually by engineering plastics structure element on the automobile industry, in which ultrasonic welding becomes one of main connection methods by its many merits. This dissertation integrate mechanical part and electrical part organically by related software according to the idea of designing mechanics system so as to design a new kind of weld machine in accordance with the principle of mechatronics.Starting with the ultrasonic plastic welding technology, the article makes the discussion to each kind of factor affected the welding quality . In term of essential idea of designing mechatronical system, the functions of the system are analyzed and divided into three subsystems: generalized executive part, detective part, as well as transaction and control part of information. These three subsystems and relevant interfaces are designed in this dissertation. And reveals the general design method of this type of non-standard equipment. The device designed is a typical mechatronical system, with capabilities as high intelligence, high reliability, low cost and convenience to control.Automation of the front and the rear bumper manufacturing process is achieved by the ultrasonic plastics welding device described above, which changes the old manual manipulation to a new process with much higher productive efficiency and also great economic and social benefits. Additionally, the research of this device expands the application range of ultrasonic plastic welding technology, and can be applied to other productions with similar technology, which has high theory significance and practical values.
