Water resources is an important gurantee of economy and social development. Our nation attachs great importance to resolving the issue of water resources. However,it is not optimistic of our country's water resources.Increasingly serious water pollution has seriously affected the country's economic development and people's water security.With the development of agriculture in recent years,the application rate of chemical fertilizers and pesticides increases gradually.Unreasonable use of fertilizer is not only increases the cost of agricultural development but also causes pollution to environment,espasially to water resource.Excessive amount of chemical fertilizers and pesticides goes into water throuth rainfall or irrigation water,which increases the load of Non-point resource source pollution.Agricultural non-point source pollution has become important factor of China's water pollution and eutrophication of lakes. To strengthen the control of non-point source pollution has become a top priority.This paper takes songhuaba as study area,starting from the hydrological process, applying the foreign non-point source pollution model theory to the study,using ArcSWAT model,on the basis of basic information investigated from songhuaba songming area,combined with GIS technology,also simulates songhuaba and water balance to vertify the applicability of swat model to songhuaba,which accumulates the first-hand information of further simulation of pollution.Firstly,We collect base maps which include the DEM data,landuse map,soil class map,watershed limits and weather data.Database structure of map mentioned above are modified to fit the request of model by ArcGIS.So the spatial databases and attributive databases are built-up to provide input data to SWAT.On the basis of database,this paper divide songhuaba river into sub-basins and hydrological response unit(HRU)by the river basin hook function fo ArcSWAT. Through the runoff,evapotranspiration,and infiltration calculated parameters of the water balance simulation results,this paper verified applicability of ArcSWAT module to Songhua River.Finally,in the light of the observation points within the basin measured data, with the actual local situation,this paper comes out the diagnostic report and gives the protection of recommendations at the same time.
