| Thermal-storage and temperature-adjust textile is an active smart textile which has special environment temperature responsive capability. It could automatically adjust textile part temperature under variety of circumstance temperature and keep textile part temperature invariablenes under certain time or cycle for the purpose of improving wearing comfort.Firstly, composite phase change material(CPCM)was prepared by sol-gel technology using silicate ester as precursor. The structure and thermal property of CPCM were characterized by DSC,TG,DTG,IR and polarized microscope etc.The results showed that after compositing, phase change material(PCM)was embedded in silicon dioxide three-network structure, which results in the "cage structure".PCM was fix in the "cage structure" so that liquid-leaking problem of solid-liquid PCM in phase changing process was desolved also;Polarized microscope showed there were many holes on the surface of composites;IR showed PCM was embedded in the network of silicon dioxide simple without any other functional groups existed;DSC showed composites had higher enthalpy and appropriate melting temperature;the thermal property of PCM kept consistence after sol-gel treatment. This paper aimed to put forward a new technology named PCM sol-gel in-situ method for the preparation of thermal-storage and temperature-adjusted textile.Firstly, growth initiator was utilized on the pretreatment of terylene/cotton fabric in order to initiate growth center on fabrics.Secondly, using terylene/cotton fabrics as a matrix, CPCM as functional material, fabrics were treated with CPCM by dip-pad-dry process so that CPCM could firmly deposit on matrix fabrics and fabrics with excellent thermal property could be obtained as well. The effecting factors of in-situ growth process on thermal-properties of fabrics, including aging-temperature,aging-time,the adding of PCM,the adding of dispersing-agent and ultrasound dispersing-time etc, were discussed in detail. The optimal condition of in-situ growth process was determined by orthogonal design, variance analysis and mathematical statistics so as to analyze the main influencing factors. The performance indexes of terylene/cotton fabrics before and after in-situ growth technique treatment were characterized. The thermal property, strength and washing fastness of fabrics before and after treatment were compared and evaluated synthetically. It was demonstrated by our research that after treatment, the fabrics had excellent thermal property and washing fastness. The liquid-leaking problem of solid-liquid PCM in phase changing process was.desolved and surface performance of fabrics was improved as well.In this paper, using sol-gel technology on the preparation of CPCM,CPCM was adding on textile by in-situ growth method. So two kinds of thermal-storage and temperature-adjust textiles with outstanding thermal property and different melting temperature could be obtained, which were fit for different circumstance temperature. |
