In recent years large quantities of compressed natural gas (CNG) filling stations have been completed and put into use along with the natural gas development and increasing demand of automobile industry for CNG. Because CNG filling station belongs to detonation and fire risk place and may be hard to control once the accident happened, the study of CNG safety evaluation and management is of great practical significance.Based on the analysis of the security statement of CNG station at home and development of safety evaluation in the world, CNG filling station safety evaluation index system was established considering from the man-machine-environment aspect. In this foundation, fuzzy synthesis evaluation model based on fuzzy mathematics and AHP method was created, in which index weight was obtained through FAHP and the safe grade through fuzzy synthesis evaluation. And the fuzzy synthesis evaluation programme was made. In order to find a method which is more adapted in the multi- factors, thenon-linearity and indefinite and make the result more reliable, this paper introduced BP neural network into safety evaluation and improved the classical method and optimized the configuration of neural network. The BP neural network model was made and the programming was carried on Matlab 7 software and the result indicated this method can combine historical experience and new knowledge and made accurate and dynamic safety appraisal of system, thus it has some practical value. At the same time, safty management was analyzed using "game theory" and its game theory models were established which included model between the government supervising organization and CNG station and model between sides in the CNG station interior. The solutions of the two models were obtained through mix strategy nash balance and the most superior probability of different strategies from respective benefit was got, finally the measures to guaranteed the safety of CNG station were proposed. In the end, dynamic security evaluation of Le Shan CNG station was carried out using the two models separately. Through the evaluation result,its security problems and improving methods were put forward. And the result was proved to accord with the field work which proved the effectiveness of the method.The CNG filling station safety evaluation index system and the evaluation model in this paper are operational and of instruction significance.
