| Scale inhibition becomes more important today along with the increases of the product water during the exploitation of the oil fields.In all scale inhibition methods,scale inhibitor is more economic and efficient.Among all of kinds mineral scales,sulfate precipitations, especially about barium sulfate,are the most difficult to remove and inhibit.Thus,it becomes the topic of the researchers in many countries.This research aims at synthesizing one kind of scale inhibitor to prevent scale formation of sulfate salts in oil fields,discussing its inhibion mechanism,and mixing with other chemical to get better inhibitor formula,which is effective to barium sulfate and strontium sulfate.In this study,the water-soluble polymeric scale inhibitor was designed according to the structure/performance relationship for barium sulfate and strontium sulfate anti-calants.The phosphorus-containing sulfonate carboxylic acid copolymer was prepared by solution polymerization technique with persulfate K2S2O8 as initiator.Maleic anhydride(MAn), Acrylic acid(AA),Unsaturated Sulfonic acid I(USA-I),Methyl acrylate(MAc)and Sodium hypophosphite were used as monomers to synthesize the polymeric scale inhibitor. The polymeric scale inhibitor containing selected functional compounds ratios provides excellent performance in the inhibition to barium sulfate and strontium sulfate.The phosphorus-containing sulfonate carboxylic acid copolymer was prepared by solution polymerization technique.In the research on synthesis technique,several factors, such as initiator and its dosage,reaction temperature,synthesis time,were discussed.The structure of polymeric scale inhibitor was analyzed by infrared spectroscopy(IR).The molecular weight was determined according to the intrinsic viscosity of synthesized polymeric scale inhibitor.The scale inhibition ability,of synthesized polymer was investigated in several scaling systems,including barium sulfate,strontium sulfate and calcium sulfate.The results show that the polymeric scale inhibitor containing selected functional compounds ratios provides excellent performance in selected scaling systems.The scale inhibition efficiency dropped while the scaling time and temperature was increasing and the pH value was decreasing.The mixture with sulfamic acid can be increase the efficiency of scale inhibition.According to the experiment research,the scale inhibition mechanism of the synthesized polymeric inhibitor was discussed.We think that the scale inhibitor,phosphorus-containing sulfonate carboxylate copolymer,works in several ways,such as chelating,electrostatic attraction by anionic polyelectrolyte and so on... |
