Owing to the limited working life of offshore platform, the utilization of EOR on offshore oilfield is a matter of great urgency. Theory and field experiments indicated that the polymer flooding technique using Hydrophobically Associating Water-Soluble Polymer NAPs is the key technology for off-shore oil field, which crude oil viscosity is very high. The preparation of polymer solution is critical element for successful polymer flooding. But it is difficult for the dissolution of Hydrophobically Associating Water-Soluble Polymer, owing to the existence of hydrophobic group. The immense technological process and high floorage of the typical technique for polymer solution preparation are in contradiction to the narrow space and limited bearing capacity of offshore platform. So a new polymer dissolution technology must be put forward to dissolve this contradiction. The thesis belongs to the part harvest of state 863 project "study on offshore adopting polymer flooding to improve oil recovery and relevant technology".There is seldom study on the process of water soluble polymer's dissolution in domestic and foreign literature. The thesis systematically studies the mechanism of Hydrophobically Associating Water-Soluble Polymer AP and the preparation of polymer solution , as well as on-line curing technology of hydrophobically associating polymer. Through the former research, the main conclusions are drawn from the following contents.(1) The dissolution process of Hydrophobically Associating Water-Soluble Polymer AP is unstable state. The dust particles become swelling-particles quickly, however the swelling-particles dissolve into water slowly.(2) The dissolution velocity of Hydrophobically Associating Water-Soluble Polymer AP is dominated by the molecular diffusion velocity of AP from the swelling-particle's surface and its superficies.(3) Through increasing relative velocity, the traditional mechanical-stirring curing accelerates the molecular diffusion velocity of AP from the swelling-particle's surface,and reduces the size of polymer swelling-particle gradually,then shortens dissolution time.(4) Screen mat in pipeline can afford compulsive shearing and cutting effects on swelling-particles, reduce its size gradually, ultimately improve the dissolution velocity of AP.(5) Laboratory and site experiments proved that screen mat in pipeline can accelerate dissolution velocity, the swelling time can shorten to five minutes,screen mat has impact on the viscosity of solution.(6) According to this study, embryonic on-line curing technology has been build-up. This on-line curing technology has the following unique feature: simple equipment,operation easy, min space.
