Cold Heading Steel Wire Rod Preparation And Organization, And Performance Control

On the base of the former route of open hearth-mounded casting and converter-mounded casting, this paper has produced successfully the cold heading steel with the process route of converter-CC-high-speed wire rod. The parameter of this process and their influence on properties of the cold healing steel are described in this paper. Through industrial experiment, experimental tests, proof tests and a lot of applications, it has been provide that the cold heading steel produced by the process route of converter-cc-high-speed wire rod has quality general performances. The results showed that:1) The cold heading steel produced by converter-CC has quality surface and internal soundness.2) The cold heading steel produced by converter-CC has quality mechanical property, cold heading property. This cold heading steel can completely meet the demands of customs.3) Our company's technology and equipment can completely ensure the chemical composition, mechanical property and process property of our produces meet the requirement of standard; and our company can set down specific process routes and chimerical composition for different demands of uses. This will meet the requirement of uses at utmost.4) The process above developed by our company has the characteristic of advanced technology, low cost. As there is no the process of bloom rolling in the technology of converter -continuous casting, the cost of the produces made by the technology of converter-CC reduce 200 Yuan/ton than converter -mounded casting.
