Iodine is related closely to the health of people, meanwhile, which is an important strategy material. Iodine is an indispensable microelement for human body. In the producing practice, in more or less degree, iodine can be found in the phosphate ore. In the course of producing wet-process phosphoric acid, recovery of iodine is integrant, which not only improve using efficiency for phosphate rock resource, according with sustainable development, but also gains a kind of value production. In the long run, thus will bring more benefits for the relevant enterprise. Therefore, recovery iodine from wet-process phosphoric acid is a very important task.This study use activated charcoal adsorption technique to recovery iodine of wet-process phosphoric acid. There are some advantages about the technology, such as simple device, good choice, larger concentrative multiple and higher separation efficiency, and capable to deal with trace element in mass dilute solution. And more importantly, the effect of the technology is very remarkable to recover of organic matter and inorganic simple substance element field.This study use orthogonal test to arrange experiments to sift the chemical reagents using the recovery of iodine by activated charcoal adsorption technique, and use twice revolve test to arrange experiments to select technology conditions. In the experimental range, it comes to the following conclusion based on the research on the technology conditions and analysis of the experimental data: activated charcoal amount has the more impact on the rate of recovery of iodine, oxidization time used and adsorption contact time has less effect. To the extent, the interaction of these factors is very remarkable.
