The experiment was carried out with the slaughter wastewater .According to the characteristic of the fatty acid-containing wastewater, the paper introduced the method of anaerobic-coagulation(UASB/ABR) to enhance the efficiency of the wastewater treatment. The efficiency of the UASB and ABR were discussed and analyzed respectively. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) According to the single factor experiment and orthographic experiment, the optimum condition of coagulationwere as follows: 0.6mL PFC(5%) per200mL; 0.8mL PAM(0.1%);agitating speed 120r/min; agitating time 90s;sediment time 20min.(2) In the UASB process, after 60d start-up, the performance of UASB was stabilization. The loading rate is up to 13kgCODcr/(m3·d).The removal efficiency of CODcr and SS are 70~79%, 68~80% respectively, the pH value of effluent is steadily at 6.5~7.3.(3) In the ABR process, after 60d start-up, the performance of ABR was stabilization. When the concentration of the influent, the loading rate and HRT are 3600mg/L, 3.5kgCODCr/(m3·d)) ,17h respectively, the performance efficiency of the reactor is perfect, and the total removal efficiency of CODcr can be steadily at 6.5~7.3.(4) The UASB-coagulation and ABR-coagulation combination process were treated the fatty acid-containing wastewater respectively, the result of experiment showed that the former efficiency is better than the latter.And the removal efficiency of the two combination process are CODcr 89.2%,oil 86.3%,SS 95%; CODcr 83.8%,oil 86.7%,SS 93.8% respectively.
