The chemical modified electrode is the new research direction which develops in the traditionalelectrochemistry foundation. It is the front research field of electrochemistry and the electrolysischemistry. This article has prepared two kinds of type modified electrodes: Poly(Alizarin Red) filmmodified electrode and the multi-wall carbon nanotubes modified electrode.The Poly(Alizarin Red) film modified electrodes are used in the determination on a series ofphenol compound and the plant polyphenols material. It has obtained the good effect.The phenol compound is one kind of plasma poison, which can cause the protein to coagulate,has the intense sterilization. Its water-soluble fluid is very easy to cause the whole body poisonthrough the skin; It's steam by the respiratory tract inspiration is bigger to the nervous system. Thephenol also has certain poisoning to the aquatic product, the aquatic microorganism and the crops.The tannin acid which called the plant polyphenol is one kind of polyhydric phenol compoundwidely exists in the plant. Along With the development of tannin acid compound chemistry, wediscovered gradually it has many kinds of biology activeness, in particularly has the very stronganti-tumor activeness.Poly(Alizarin Red) film modified electrode has good corresponding to hydroquinone materialand the tannic acid. The linear range for the determination of hydroquinone is1.0×10-5mol/L~4.0×10-3mol/L with detection limit of 1.0×10-6mol/L. The linear range fordetermination of catechol is 5.0×10-5mol/L~5.0×10-3mol/L with detection limit of 1.0×10-6mol/L.Thelinear range for determination of tannin acid is 5.0×10-6mol/L~5.0×10-3mol/L with detection limitof 1.0×10-6mol/L. The linear equation is i(μA)=0.2768c(10-6mol/L)+2.636, r=0.9966.The carbon nanotubes modified electrode has the good effect on chloramphenicol.The chloramphenicol(CAP) is the first synthesized broad antibiotic. Because its highly effectand moderately-priced, it obtains the widespread application in our country's stockbreeding, andplays the vital role to the poultry disease controlling. Along with the chloramphenicol widespreadapplication, we discovered it has many poisons and the side effect. Therefore, we must controlchloramphenicol in animalistic food remaining, safeguards the consumer's health and safety.The carbon nanotubes modified electrode has the good electric current effect to thechloramphenicol. The oxidation currents were linear for CAP in the range of 2.9×10-5~2.0×10-4mol/L, and the detection limit was calculated to be 5.0×10-6 mol/L. The corresponding linearregression equation is i(μA)=0.1282c (1×10-5 mol/L)+0.2648, with a correlation coefficientr=0.9901.
