With the improvement of the quality request of the aluminum foil stock used to the late machining aluminum foil, higher quality request of aluminum stock is put forward to. And the higher quality of aluminum stock is determined by the higher quality of aluminum melt. And the purification technique is the main method of improving the quality of aluminum melt, meanwhile, the purification efficiency of the aluminum melt will directly affect the production efficiency of the aluminum product manufactured during the downstream operation. So, guaranteeing the purification quality and the purification efficiency is very important.The research mainly aimed at solving the domestic problems of the purification operation and the casting and rolling production line of aluminum melt. In this paper, hydrogen-removal purification operation of aluminum melt was researched based on the experiment and the theoretical analysis. The main research as follows:1. we explained the reason of resulting metallurgical imperfection , for example, the gas hole,gas pin etc. during the aluminum solidifying course, By analyzing the alumina structure and researching the solute-reassigning acts of the hydrogen during the aluminum solidifying course.2. By analyzing the course of the dynamics of the hydrogen removal in the aluminum melt, we established the model of hydrogen removal in aluminum melt, found the factors of affecting the hydrogen-removal purification operation, and summed up the basic methods of improving the purification operation.3. By analyzing the model established, we established the following experiment models: hydrogen removal influence made by gas and liquid specific surface-area, the holding time of hydrogen bubble working in the aluminum melt, the rate of the hydrogen diffusion in the aluminum melt, and established the best healing time and the best casting temperature.4. Compared the purification effect of Ar and N2 by the experiment results and the theoretical analysis, and found the better purification gas.
