Abstract/Summary:
High orientated titania films are fabricated by titanium(IV)n-butoxide as the raw material and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) as template at the air-water interface. In this work, the focus is how to fabricate the rational design of titania films at this interface via a self-assembly route in which cationic surfactant is used to direct the nucleation growth, and morphology of the oxide. We also investigate the effects of surfactant structure and the pH value of the system on the fabrication, and select the best condition of fabricating the titania films at the air-water interface. The research about soak is given to the titania films, to investigate template stability and the changes of the d value of the film. Furthermore, by intercalation, silver can be successfully loaded at the titania interlayer space, it's sandwich-like composite nano-film.Remarkably, in the presence of gelatin titania film consisted of well-dispersed nano-particles could be prepared due to excellent stabilization of the gelatin. At the same time, we propose mechanism for the formation of characteristic morphologies for titania films and the formation kinetics of air-water interfacial titania film.At last, ZrO2 films are self-assembled at air-water interface with gelatin as stabilizer and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) as template. In the presence of gelatin ZrO2 film consisted of well-dispersed nano-particles could be prepared due to excellent stabilization of the gelatin.
