Alkylglucosides drilling fluid was firstly used in Mexicobay of the USA and achieved a big success in 1994. Later, in the 1995's IADC/SPE conference of drilling fluid, the field application was reported in detail. From then on, the alkyglucosides is used in drilling fluid more and more widely. In this article, we studied the industrial synthesis of methylglycosides and ethylene glycol glycosides and optimized the synthesis via orthogonal designs. We also studied the influence of the different additives on the high temperature degradation of the alkyglycosides and finally found the ethanolamine was a good additive. We studied the adsorption of MEG and ETG on Ca- and Na- montmorillonite and the pH, salt and temperature's influence. We used the alkylglycosides to modify the Na-montmorillonite, and studied the variation of the structure between the Na-montmorillonite and the modified Na-montmorillonite via FTIR, XRD and TGA. We discussed the adsorption mechanism of MEG and ETG At last, we used the method of linear swelling and the size distribution of montmorillonite particles to evaluate the ability of alkyglycosides's shale inhibition. This thesis's results contain four aspects as below:1. The amount of glucoside was determined by Fehling reagent-Spectrophotometric method. We synthesized the MEG with starch and methanol using oil of vitriol as catalyst. We obtained the best synthesis conditions via orthogonal designs: N(starch):N(methanol)= 1:25.5, reaction temperature 135℃, catalyst amount 0.4ml, reaction time 2h. The MEG is white crystal. And we also synthesized the ETG with glucoside and ethylene glycol using phosphate acid as catalyst. This synthesis's best reaction conditions is below: N(glucoside):N(ethylene glycol)=1:7, the reaction temperature: 120℃, the amount of catalyst 0.5 ml and the reaction time 2 h. The ETG is a hard amber crystal. We also studied the degradation of the alkylglycosides and found ethanolamine was a good additive to inhibit the alkylglycosides's degradation.2. We studied the adsorption of MEG on montmorillonite. The conclusions is below: (1) The adsorbed amount of MEG is found to increase with increasing bulk concentration of MEG solution and it is noticed that the adsorption isotherm belongs...
