With the development of the society, more and more identification code is used. People need high-quality sign or identification code which is used to mark different product. The old method which uses film to print is expensive, and another method which uses printer to print bar code and then paste it, is too slow and fussy. The un-touch print technology can solve these problems well. This paper studies and designs the un-touch, print on-demand system.The paper investigates the present development of the print technology, analyses the advantage of the different technique and forecasts the progress of the print technique. Comparing the development of the aboard, it is obviously that the internal technology fall behind, and the product made in aboard take up the internal market. In this situation, the paper analyses the XJ128 printhead's characteristic, designs a print on-demand system and studies how to improve the image's DPI. Based on the function requirement of print system, in the paper, it expounds the way to design the system, and illustrates the method to realize the module's hardware and software, then lays out parts of the procedures flowchart. At last it tests the function of the print system.The thesis studies and realizes the print system which adapts to the industry. The test result shows that the system is reliable and realizes the designed function.
