The subject purpose is optimizing process parameter of decarbonization for IF steel using RH—MFB equipment in Pangang steelworks, the equipment capacity is 130t. Researching contents consist of RH equipment conditions, hot metal status before management of decarbonization, process parameter of decarbonization. Base on the researches, trying to depress content of carbon and holding stabilization.Base on study for increasing decarburize velocity in the state and word , founding a mathematics model of decarburizing in RH equipment through practice of operation and experimentation. Applying the model calculation, obtain reasonable process parameters of management and status of hot metal before management of decarbonization using RH—MFB equipment.Through adopt the measure such as controling status of hot metal (for example content of carbon, content of oxygen, amount of converter slag, weight of hot metal etc.), depressing degree of vacuum promptly by driving vacuum pump ahead or increasing flow of nitrogen, controling correctly inserted deepness of duck, controling the time of decarburizing, process parameters of decarbonization for managing IF steel using RH—MFB equipment are optimized. The effection is obvious. Content of carbon range between 10 × 10-4% and 60× 10-4% after management In preceding of experimentation, and it change to 10× 10-4%—40× 10-4% at later period. Above 75 percent of heat, content of carbon no more than 30× 10-4%.It make Pangang steelworks have a capability of batching IF steel which content of carbon is less than 50 × 10-4.
