This article prepares one kind of expandable graphite which suits the interference millimeter waves. Discussion the preparation methods select, the preparation materials choice and the preparation best craft conditions. Analyze the structural of expandable and expanded graphite respectively. Test graphite worm to millimeter waves interference performance.Finally, chooses chemistry oxo-process to prepare expandable graphite; the raw material choice is: The perchloric acid for inserts, the ammonium nitrate as the oxidant. The best material allocated proportion is, natural graphite in flake: Ammonium nitrate: The perchloric acid is 5: 0.5: 15; The best craft condition is responds 60 min in 30℃,the expandable graphite expanded in muffle at 600℃, the expanded volume is 380mL/gThis article tested the graphite worms to the 8mm wave interference performance, and with market graphite worms under the same condition to carry on the contrast to the 8mm wave interference performance, this article prepared the expandable graphite the performance to surpass the market expandable graphite. And the prepared expandable graphite to apply in the instantaneous agent, the effect is good.
