There are five methods having been developed to synthesize imidocarb in the literature,for instance:(1) The compound are prepared by 3, 3'-dicyano-carbanilide first with ether hydrogen sulfide or alcoholic hydrochloric acid and then with ethylene diamine:(2) The compound are prepared by 3, 3'-di(lower alkoxy)carbonyl-carbanilide and ethylene diamine react, preferably in the presence of ammonium chloride.
