Urban soils are one of the essential constituent parts of city environment system which have an important effect on the urban sustainable development. Since urban soils not only influence intensive urban crowd directly, involve numerous life heaths and safety, through the water body and atmosphere they also influence the quality of city environment indirectly. Therefore, people has paid highly attention to the problem of urban soil contamination.This paper takes a certain industry plot in Nan Jing as an example, after sampling and analyzing the soil, the content of heavy metal Cr, Pb, V,Hg, As, Ni and Cu in soil are studied and used the method of single-index to assess it.The result indicated that in 1m depth underground, the Cr,V,Ni are over quantity, among them, the super mark rate of the Cr, is 10.53%, the super mark rate of the V is 17.65%, and the Ni is 2.63%; In 2m depth underground , the Cr,V are over quantity. Among them, the super mark rate of the Cr is 5.26% and the super mark rate of the V is 11.76%, In 3m depth underground. Cr,V are over quantity. Among them, the super mark rate of the Cr is 6.06% and the super mark rate of the V is 6.07%; In depth more than 3m underground, the content of heavy metal in soil can all meet the standard. It shows that this industry plot of soil really exists the heavy metals pollution and the heavy metals Cr particularly supers mark severely, which has something to do with the long-term pilling-up waste residue that contains Cr and letting out wastewater that contains Cr. With the usage mathematical model of distance weighted mean, the pollution area of Cr,V,Ni in lm depth underground respectively is 39700m~2, 1000m~2 and 1370m~2; The pollution area of Cr,V in 2m depth underground respectively is 11500m~2 and 28400 m~2 and the pollution area of Cr,V in 3m depth underground respectively is 2320 m~2 4520 m~2 This indicated that the soil is polluted severely by heavy metals and need to carry on a repair so as to avoid endangering the crowd. Lastly. This paper adopt a technique, which carries the contaminated soil to the tail mineral database of the copper mine in Nanjing Jiuhua mountain to remedy the contaminated soil thoroughly.
