Solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) water electrolysis technology promises to be very useful in hydrogen production, space and terrestrial applications with the adventages of higher efficiencies, 产品纯度高 and so on. Membrane Electrodes is the core of the SPE Water electrolysis technology.Electrocatalyst with hige activity and stability.appropriate catalyst-layer structure, improving the fabrication methode of the membrane electrode and corrosion-resistive GDL are the issue keys for successfully improving the performance of SPE water electrolysis cell. In this dissertation much in-depth research work was deployed by focusing on these issues.This paper prepared several oxygen evolution electrocatalysts and investigated in detail, the 80wt% IrO2+20wt% Pt electrocatalyst was optimized because of the better oxygen evolution activity and the higher stability. The present study indicates that the optimum composition of the catalyst layer should change the bulk ratio of Nafion to catalyst. Investigation are made by using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and current density-potential relations, the results clearly showed that the best performance was obtainted when the bulk ratio of Nafion to catalyst is 1:10, the cell voltage for water electrolysis mode was only 1.49V at 300mA/cm2 and 1.63 V at lA/cm2. A high intensive catalyst coated membrane (CCM) for SPE water electrolysis cell was designed and fabricated by introducing a modified Nafion layer between the membrane and the catalyst layer.As a result, lower contact resistance, higher electrocatalyst utilization and superior durability of CCM was achieved.A novel corrosion-resistive gas diffusion layer (GDL) with the adventages of the higher conductance, intensive and stability was proposed and developed for the first time. The GDL was prepared by carbon paper gas diffusion backing and a protective micro-porous layer (MPL) which was made of the hige active IrO2 deposited on non-corrosive Ti powders.The novel GDL can...
