| The water heater performance, especially its security performance is involved in the safety of people's lives and properties, so it must be tested. The traditional testing means is inefficient and inconvenient, and has no high accuracy and reliability. In addition, because of the influence of man-made factors, the testing result is not always so external. As further extension of the water heater market, the testing means has to be renovated. In domestic area, there is no such a set of device that can test the water heater performance automatically. The water heater thermal performance testing system that we have developed fills the domestic vacancy and satisfies the fast, accurately, automatically testing requirement of water heater factories and Chinese gas device testing center.According to the requirements of the client and GB6932-2001, the paper finished the general plan design, hardware design, software design, as well as assemblage and debugging. The mechanical part of the system consists of two cabinets: controlling cabinet and testing cabinet, which separates the electric controlling part and each air circuit and water circuit. The position of the opponents and the layout of the pipes have been optimized in the cabinets;In electric controlling part, high precision sensors have been used to detect temperature, pressure, and flow. The detected signals are sent to the multifunctional data acquisition card to take A/D conversion after being tackled with. Then the industrial computer receives the desired datum and deals with them;the viewpoint of software engineering and the concept of modularization, as well as the advanced method of data acquisition, have been used to design the whole software system. The program language is VB6.0, and the database is Access2000.The system can test 19 thermal performance indexes of water heater automatically with high precision and reliability. It has been working well since it was used by Chinese gas device testing center. |
