| Muus desert is one of the most serious desertified regions in China, which positioned in semiarid climate area and the hydrothermal condition was superior to the other deserts in western China. The cultivated land was occupied and the meadow was generally eroded into coursing by shifting sand, and the residential area, communication, water conservancy and pipeline were caught by the blow sand disaster. All of those resulted in bad aftereffect to economic development and people's life of the area, while the ecological balance was destroyed and the natural environment becoming worse. On the first hand, the natural environment feature of the Muus desert region was illustrated in the essay, while the motion characteristic of blow sand and the movement regular of dune were analyzed. The movement pattern of sand grain was also classified into three different patterns: glide and creep, spasmodic motion and flow suspended in air current, then both of the formula of the sediment runoff and movement pattern of dune were established. On the second hand, basing on the natural environment feature of Muus desert, the various technical means of geotechnical engineering reconnaissance in the desert area were analyzed and the reconnaissance technique on the blow sand ,desert circuit line and station yard.In addition, the ground treatment technical means in the engineering construction desert area was discussed in the essay, it turned out that cushion layer method, strong compaction method, vibroflotation method, gravel pile densely packed method and high pressure injection slip casting method were the adaptive method to the ground treatment in desert region, whose feasibility was validated by application to an engineering example. At last, the comprehensive treatment countermeasures to the blow sand disaster were studied, and the conclusion was that: the measure of sand consolidation by planting, sand consolidation by chemical ways and the engineering sand-proofmethod were integrated applied complementarily so that it could serve the purpose of comprehensively controlling the sand. |
