The world is faced with energy crisis in twenty-one century, and the contradiction between oil demand and supply of our country is becoming more and more prominent day by day. At present, Daqing Oilfield is stepping into later stage of high water content, oil production capacity decreases progressively year after year, the situation is becoming very crucial. To study new technique of evaluation of water-flooded zone and to enhance the efficiency of adjustment and potentiality for oilfield is one of the most urgent and meaningful tasks.By developing simulated experiment of water displacing oil, this paper studied variation regularity of which geochemical analysis and fluorescent microscopic image change with the ascension of water content. On the basis of wireline logging and geo-logging information, integrated by core analysis of sealed coring, a new comprehensive evaluation method of water-flooded zone taking new technologies of geo-logging as the core has been established. By application of research fruits in La-Sha-Xing oilfield of Daqing, 30 wells have been evaluated through sidewall core analysis, the coincidence rate of interpretation for thin or poor oil layer reaches more than 70%, and the thin or poor oil layer of many wells obtained commercial oil flows. This resolved effectively the big technical 'bottleneck' problem of thin or poor oil layer evaluation, by which interfered development and adjustment of oilfield, and plays an important role on the sustainable development of oilfield.
