Ions are considered as an essential determinant in this paper. After studying the formation geology physical properties of reservoir rock, mineral elements and its content are concluded in the paper. Water analysis is also carried out in this paper. The characteristics of several types of water including original groundwater, produced water and injected water are discussed separately, which are the base of the rules concluded. Types of those water, components including metal elements, nonmetal, suspend solid (SS), dissolved gas and oil droplets etc, properties of these matters and their impacts on injected water quality are all discussed here.Deposition and corruption are prevalent and serious in most oilfields, in order to mend these instances peoples have already studied the influence of both SS and oil droplets and also have gained many mature control methods that effectively mend parts of practice problems. But there are still ones embarrassing water-injection efficiency. And people found that the water-quality guideline is only the basal foundation of water treatment, and even if they obeyed it grimly there were still lots of issues after it was injected in. it is just because of ions existing in different kinds of water which would reacted with each other. Here we commence to study the mechanism and solutions from the point of microcosmic view and a brand-new concept of ion regulation and control is also been brought forward in this paper.Ion regulation and control is a systemic technique. Through appending some additional chemicals after chronic water treatments and fully reciprocal reacting between such chemicals and ions presented originally, latent puzzling ions would be treated with as tractable matter such as deposit, SS and colloid etc. So the ions amount of the injected water would be reduced evidently, the injected water quality would be improved and great deal of potential problems occurred with those ions would be solved. In order to adjust the chemical dosage the first prerequisite needs to be known is how bad the matters presented in oilfields are, so exact forecast formulas are applied here including for scale deposit amount, the maximized amount of scale, andcorrosion degree etc.An example is presented in the paper to validate all of the theories, mechanisms and improved measurements mentioned foregoing. To sum up applying technique of ion regulation and control into water treatment in water flooding is a new valid method to improve water quality. It could reduce the possibility of scale deposit and corrosion existing in injected water system and could also minimize the formation damage. So it is an important technique for oilfields to treat injected water and maintain the water-injection efficiency, and should be generalized in various oilfields. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | injected water quality, ion regulation and control, ion, chemical reaction, injected water system, scale deposit, corrosion, forecast, evaluate | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
