The key question is the prediction of the drilling rate, but it is common that estimating the drilling rate by experience today, and according to the estimated drilling rate to account the drill periods. If the estimation have some error, and the accounted drilling well periods would arise largely, then the drill well would face bigger operational risk and economic risk. And this situation is very obvious in bid, because the predicting periods is not exact, the price of bid fluctuate. So the out put is to the bad. And it is a big question that to account the new exploring drilling rate correctly in drilling well project. In the past the way to predict drilling rate is to use time difference of measure well sound wave to predict and establish area bored section, and it is only can use for drilled section. To the new section, it is advisable to predict drillability and drilling rate of area formation stock by using time difference of measure well sound wave. At present, these is little predicting about stock drillability before drilling. On the new exploring area, the earthquake information is the only believable information to certain geologic constitution and exploring well. So through earthquake information to look for relation between earthquake wave rate and formation drillability and drilling rate ,and to predict drilling periods and estimate drilling risk properly.The paper investigates the correlative relationship between earthquake wave rate and formation drillability through the relation between rock drillability and geologic time, hole angle, burying depth and earthquake wave rate. To bring forward relatively drillability conception to different drill bit style contemporary, and build they way to predict formation drillability by earthquake wave rate. Then the paper builds formation drillability prediction and the formula about drilling rate predicting method according horizontal formation, aslant formation and different geologic constitution, and the way to predict drilling rate by NN method .Moreover, the accord percent of the drilling rate is up to about 75%. The researches consider that it is can achieve the aim of predicting new exploring area by using earthquake explanation information to predict formation drillability. |
