Human beings can not live without environment. The Earthcan provide us sun-shine, air, water, soil, a large amount of living beings andmineral sources. But human acticities in life and production has influencedand changed these environmental conditions. The environmental constitutionand state are changing. The environmental quality is declining. Theecosystem and people's normal living and productive conditions have beseverely destroyed. Pollution is becoming more and more serious.Water is the source of life. The 50 thousands river systems locates indefferent areas in our country are like blood vessels in human body. Water islike blood flowing in the vessel. If the composition of blood changes, life willbe dangerous. At present, the conditions of water source in our countryallows of no optimism. All the river systems are polluted to some degree.Many pollutants are even found in drinking water. Among the varions typesof pollutants, organic compounds occupy a large portion. It is estimated thatthere are several ten thousands types of synthetic poisonous organiccompounds evey year. The output has reached several million tons. Ninetyper cent of them are organic compounds. Half of them are put into the air andthe water of the lakes, rivers and oceans. The source of water has beenpolluted, and at the same time, it has made water entrophication,entrophication has produced full scale of algae and microcystin. Algae caninfluence the normal work of water factory, meanwhile, microcystin caninfluence the quality of water, then come to harm the health of people.Treasuring water means treasuring our lives!The followings were studied the methods for solid-phase extraction,determination and removal of trace cartridge and disk for solid-phaseextraction suitable for different water samle types were developed. A novelcombination pattern between cartridge and disk has been studied for traceenrichment of proiority organic pollutants in water, it has been evaluated.This reseach was done for first time in China. Then we used GACsolid-phase extraction to analyse the oder compounds in reservoir water,established a method to analyse easily. Last, Determination of microcystinproduced by certain types of cyanobacteria using ELISA immunoassay aftersolid-phase estraction from water samples was developed and evaluated. Theremoval ability of microcystin in algae blooming reservoir water bycongulation and chlorine dioxide pre-oxidation is proved to be limited. GACadsorption and ozone oxidation have been confirmed to be suitabletechnology for reduce of microcystin. The research in improving waterquality done in this essay is of great theoretical significance and practicalvalue.
