| The aluminum continuous casting-rolling is a technique by which the melt is cast with the rotation roller as a crystallizer. The excellent aluminum casting-rolling strips mainly refer to those having good inherent organizational performance, the bright and clean surface and the free of the small edge cracks.In order to design a system of technology for production of excellent aluminum casting-rolling strip, this article focuses on the production craft of the aluminum casting-rolling strips by investigating the surface quality, the side quality and the internal quality of the 8011, 1200, 1145 and 1060 alloys.The transversal striations have been studied and the results show that the undulation of aluminum liquid in the head box causes the vibration of the curving fluid film between the feed tip and the roller. Because the mechanism of the aluminum continuous casting-rolling is of strong undercooling, the aluminum melts contacting firstly the surface of roller can be solidified rapidly and tend to form watermark-shaped striations after rolled on the plate. The key to eliminate transversal striations is to make the aluminum fluid contact the roller surface steadily. The redesign of the feed tip has been made to stabilize the liquid flow and eliminate transversal striations.The side quality has been studied and the results show that the decrease of edge cracks is mainly determined by reducing the shearing force which produces during the distortion, reducing the casting-rolling zone altitude and, at the same time, reducing the friction force of the handle with clipper-built radian. The aluminum casting-rolling strips without edge cracks have been produced. Each side sheared is reducedby 10-30mm and the rate of finished products is enhanced by more than 5% in cold rolling.The refining technology of aluminum melts has also been studied in this work. The origin and the characteristic of the disolved gas and the dregs has been verified. Based on it, we formulate an new refining plan called as the (3+2). The craft practice confirms that the hydrogen content falls below 0.12ml/100g in the application of this factory. |
