The status inside a blast-furnace is the key of the decision-making of burden-laying operation during the blast-furnace's producing process. The measure or prediction of the status inside a blast-furnace is the basis of optimizing the burden-laying operation. Aimed at the temperature field and the burden distribution inside a blast-furnace, two models are brought forward respectively to afford better information.Firstly, the flow of blast-furnace process is introduced briefly, and the mechanism of how the temperature field and burden distribution are formed is clarified.Secondly, based on the analysis of the actuality of measure and research on the temperature field inside a blast-furnace, a infrared image based temperature field model, which integrates the information of the cross-temperature and infrared vidicon, is brought forward aiming at the blast-furnace that has both cross-temperature equipment and infrared vidicon installed. The model uses a dynamic method to establish the relation between the gray . Meanwhile, the color bitmap, the isotherm and the diagonal temperature distribution of the temperature field are distilled by combining the image process methods to afford more intuitional and in-depth temperature information inside the blast-furnace.Thirdly, based on the analysis of the actuality of measure and research on the burden distribution inside a blast-furnace, a information fusion based burden distribution model, which fuses the information of the burden laying model, structure datum of the blast-furnace and the infrared image, etc, is brought forward aimed at the bell-less blast-furnace that uses multi-circle manner to lay burden and has a infrared vidicon installed. The model analyses the reflections on the burden distribution of each information, and fuses the reflections by expert-experience. The model can predicts the blast-furnace's burden distribution's slope of both center and edge, position of the peak and the shape of center-coke in real-time with the ideal assumptions.Finally, both models of this paper is applied to a monitoring systemof a blast-furnace. The results of the models' output, which shows real-time and all-around information of the temperature field and burden distribution inside the blast-furnace, is displayed intuitively by visual-techniques, such as bitmap and OpenGL, in the monitoring system. The results of the application show that both models are effective.
