The theoretical base of sintering is elaborated on and the significance of increasing the lump recovery of zinc and lead sintering under the present raw material condition is put forward in this paper. Factors that affect the increase of the lump recovery rate are analyzed from such aspects as physical and chemical properties of concentrates, sinteaing machine feed and blast air etc. and approaches to improve the lump recovery under present material condition are also put forward as below.First Improving the size proportion of the machine feed and the pelletizing efficiency of sintering mixture, so that the permeability of the sintering bed can be improved and the increase of lump recovery can be achieved.Second Intensifying the process of sinter by way of improving the air distribution and increasing the blast intensity of the sintering stage in the sintering machine, so that intensified sintering is realized.In view of the intensified sintering, the defects of the sintering air distribution system in Shaoguan Smelter, the irrationality of the configuration, of process circuits and insufficient capability of the fans are analyzed, and modification scheme, implementation of the scheme and effect of the scheme are also put forward.In view of the condition of pelletization of the sintering mixture, the principle of pelletization is analyzed. CL is chosen as additives. The dose and dosing method of additives are determined according to the physical and chemical properties of the materials at Shaoguan Smelter and the effects of the industrial experiment are analyzed.Such conclusions can be drawn on how to improve the lump recovery:1. Improving the blast distribution air of the sintering machine, increasing the air supply capability and intensifying the sintering:(1) Improving the air distribution: No. 2 fan's changed its air supply to No. 3-6 windboxes from number 3-5 windboxes, and number 3 fan's changed its air supply to No. 6-9 windboxes from number 6-9 windboxes;(2) In view of the conditions of No. 0,2 and 4 fans and problems occurred in the production practice, the type of these fans have been changed and airvolume of number 1,2 and 4 windboxes have been increased properly, so that the sintering has been intensified and cooling effect of machine feed improved. At the same time, concentration of SO2 in the sintering gas keeps stable.2. The following measures are taken to improve the pelletization effect of the sintering mixture:(1) rational control of the size proportion of return fines;(2) In view of the condition of the raw materials at Shaoguan Smelter, CL is used as additives and the optimum effect has been proved at the dose of 0.11%.By means of these methods,effective results have been achieved during production. |
