This paper optimizes according to the principle of orthogonal experiment the process conditions for directly producing sodium bicarbonate using natural brine and ammonium bicarbonate by one step. Synthetically considering the results of the orthogonal experiment, the best process conditions obtaining from the relationship of the product recovery ratio and product purity quotient with each relevant condition are: ratio of natural brine and ammonium bicarbonate: 1.0(m3):0.36-0.4(t);temperature of reaction:35 - 37.5℃;time of reaction: 1 — 1.5h.A proof test has also been carried out according to the best process conditions. The result of the test indicates that under the conditions the average recovery of sodium bicarbonate is 91.43%, and that content of NaHCO3 is in the range of 99.0 - 100.5%, scratching up the standard of foodstuff, Industrial produce have also obtained a perfect result.This paper has also studied the disposal of pregnant antimony solution in production of sodium bicarbonate and on the basis of the theoretical analysis and experiment, designed a process flow with three-effect-evaporation, to recovery ammonium chloride and sodium chloride.This process flow is based on the discrepancy of solubility between ammonium chloride and sodium chloride. In the process, the first separate sodium chloride crystals out of the solution, while it is hot, then cooled to separate ammonium chloride crystals out of it, the pregnant antimony solution in production of sodium bicarbonate, is evaporated cyclically no waste fluid is discharged.In the experiment, recovery ratio of ammonium chloride and sodium chloride is 46.24% and 72.27%, content of nitrogen of produce is not less than 22.5%, content of sodium of produce is not greater than 1.8%, rate of senior grade produce is 42.9%, yield is 57.1%, all of produce are up to standard.This process flow can dispose 150m3 pregnant antimony solution of production of sodium bicarbonate, producing 24t ammonium chloride and 10t sodium chloride, in a day.By process flow of three-effect-evaporation, to recovery ammonium chloride and sodium chloride, reducing production costs, and increasing economic benefits, and solved the problem of environmental protection.
