Owing to the extremely rapid rate of sintering, high temperature and very high energy efficiency, the spark plasma sintering is becoming one of the most potential material processing technology of the next generation .In the paper, with the background of studying spark plasma sintering(SPS), and describes the principles and features and preparing super fine-grain ceramics of the SPS process.The paper study the preparation of super fine grain-TiO2 ceramics and Al2O3 ceramics with spark plasma sintering . Study the microstructure of TiO2 ceramics and Al2O3 ceramics in different sintering temperature ,affection of grain size and illumination condition to TiO2-ceramics hydrophilicity with contact angle measure means. The results show:1.With SPS technology sintering atmosphere rising temperature speed sample inflicting pressure and holding time , It had prepared integrity compact fine grain-TiO2 and fine grain-Al2O3 ceramics successfully.2.Sintering temperature is the key factor of affecting fine grain-ceramics density. Sintering shrinkage of the sample and density will augment when sintering temperature rise. Moreover, it won't appear that the sample's density decrease when the sintering temperature rise as like normal rapid sintering.3. .It was found that hydrophilicity is controlled by grain size and the hydrophilicity has a step-response to intensity of illumination.
