The study about reasonable development mode has important meaning to every oil field. The determination of reasonable development mode can cut down investment and improve the development efficiency and economic benefit of the whole oil field.In this paper, through studying the characteristic of formation distribution, formation seepage property, water-oil distribution and reserves distribution in Wu5 and Wu16 well region in Wu Er He oil field , a comprehensive cognition about geology characteristic in Wu Er He oil field has been get, it is low natural energy, severe heterogeneity, low permeability. On the basis of the cognition,, studied the reasonable development mode of Wu5 and Wu16 well in Wu Er He oil field by using both reservoir engineering method and numerical simulation. By comparing the development potential of using water-flooding to using natural energy, proved that water-flood is effective in this oilfield. By several method, the reasonable formation pressure of T2K2,T2K1, T1B in Wu5 well region and T2K2 in Wu 16 well region have been determined, it is 12.50MPa, 12.35MP, 12.76MPa, 12.53Mpa, respectively. It is indicated by the study that Wu5 and Wu16 well region in Wu Er He oilfield should be developed in one layer series of development, adopt nine-spot well network and 300m well spacing, and develop at 0.7% oil recovery rate and 0.8 injection to production ratio. In that way, the development is quite reasonable. It is also indicated by the study that cyclic water-flooding is a little superior to continued water-flooding in Wu Er He oilfield. At last, according to the situation in Wu5 and Wu16 well region in Wu Er He oil field, which is low recovery percent of reserves and low efficiency injection and production well net work, based on the study in reasonable development mode, an adjustment project with good effect both in technology and economic performance has been put forward.The result of the paper has instructional meaning to Wu Er He oil field in realizing high production and stable production, in changing the large-scale production and improving the development technology. It also can provide theoretical base for effective development mode and production technology in developing other oil resource in the Junggar Basin in Xingjian oil field.
