At present, wet flue gas desulphurization technology is the best mature technology used to control the content of SO2, and it is also a primary way commended to desulfurize in the future. But the phenomenon, for example, the high heavy humidity of wet flue gas, the heavy water adhere to the vane of the draught fan, and the corrosion on the air flue and chimney, effect badly the normal running of the wet flue gas desulphurization technology. The way of reheating the desulfurated flue gas is the beat method to solve these problems according to experimentation and investigation. But for the engneering problem solving in practical, the span of reheating-temperature varies due to the absence of study on interrelated theory. Some choose the temperature of 25℃, and some take the temperature of 25 ℃, and some get the higher temperature. It is more difficult for the best reheating content required in the reheating of flue gas to attain. The aim of the research project is to analyse the mechanism of reheating flue gas, study the process of mass transfer and heat transfer during the course of reheating flue gas, seek the key factor deciding the reheating content of the flue gas, and educe the best appropriate reheating content hereby. These work will provide the theoretic basis for the design of the device of the reheating flue gas.The text analysed the characteristic of the wet desulfurated flue gas on the base of the research of grand old man, educed the connection and protracted the curve between the temperature and humidity of wet flue gas in the condition of being saturated. Thecharacteristic of the wet desulfurated flue gas is analysed thoroughly according to the curve. It can be educed that the key progress deciding the reheating content is the mass transfer and heat transfer of water in the course of reheating flue gas. The reheating content is related to not only the dew-point temperature, but also the speed of evaporation of water. So the two aspect must both be considered to ascertain the reheating content.Therefore , the text started with the academic and mathematic model on the evaporation of the single water drop, researched the evaporation of group water drops of the flue gas, and established the evaporation model of water in the course of reheating flue gas. On the base of the evaporation model of water and engineering examples, the key factors which decided the time cost by the evaporation of water are the diameter of the water drop of the wet desulfurated flue gas and the excessive humidity which act as mass transfer impetus of the evaporation of water. The author also summarized the academic calculating steps which can be used to obtain reheating content of the flue gas. At the same time, according to the academic analysis and the test from practice, it is can educe that a best appropriate reheating content, which can not only save the investment of the equipments, but also achieve the good effect on reheating flue gas, can be attained.
