Some humic acids in water are series of complexes including phenollic, quinonyl, aromatic ploycarboxylic acid and alkyl groups, most of them are aromatic compounds. Many components of humic acids can get together in solution containing particles, which can will affect the interaction between humic acids and pollutants remarkably. Its biological effect can change in different concentrations, when concentrations are high it is harmful to peoples' health. It can make many substances "organization" and change their chemical behaviors such as transfer and diffusion in environment. In addition, humic acids are the main substance that can cause a set of trihalomethanes when we are dealing with water. Trihalomethanes can cause cancers and some other diseases. In order to control the quality of water source effectively and ensure peoples' safety during using water, it is necessary to do pretreatment to get rid of humic acid. This field has caught many peoples' attention. In this paper, development in this field is introduced. We establish new way using Microcoulometry titration to determine the humic acid in water. This method is very handy and fast, and it offers one new method to study this field.
