Salt Lake Concentrated Brine Boron Part Of The Experimental Research

Boron is a kind of typical nonmetal and boron resources in china is the fifth in the world, and that many kinds of boron resources are found but most of them can' t be utilized. Some boron-magnesium mines are easy to use, but they have become so little. About boron resources at present two aspects are noticed: first is the utilization of the iron-boron mine in LiaoNing province; second is the compositive utilization of the salt lake boron resources.A lot of boron was found in the salt lakes of our country. Currently, available solid boron resources are in XiZang province, and the solid boron resources of Qinghai province have dried up after many years' exploitation. However, the boron resources in brines are in the initial stages of exploitation.This paper aims at the extraction of boron in the crude and concentrated brine of salt lakes, and from the economic aspect, designing the craftwork of extraction of boron in concentrated brine and the removing boron craftwork. The outcomes as follows:1.Designing the craftwork before extraction of lithium: vitriol acidify to get boric acid, then extract to remove and reclaim boron;2. Analyzing the deoxidizing methods of the brine containing deposit and getting the best method.3. Studying the part experimental conditions of that craftwork, and getting the experimental conditions of industry experiment.4. Studying the part condition of extraction to remove and reclaim boron in the filtrate after acidification.The craftwork extracting boric acid, then removing and reclaiming boron is effective in this experiment. Brief flow, easy to handle and small loss to lithium are its merits. It will have a better applying future.
