The technic parameters and dynamic mechanisms of the calcium sulfite oxidation in heterogeneous condition is studyed in this paper systematically, the foundation of calcium sulfite oxidation technology in our country is builded, which is designed for limestone gypsum FGD.The advantages of limestone-gypsum FGD method are as follows:The content of sulphur in the applyed coal is width, high desulfurization efficiency, the limestone source is abundant and cheap, no processing contamination for producing limestone absorbent etc.. For an fire electrical engineering set above 200MW, the department recommends the limestone-gypsum method as the preferred dessulfurization technology. It is necessary to study the wet-oxidation reaction of calcium sulfite thoroughly for the sake of synthetical utilization of those desulfuriation waste, to fill up the technique blank in our country, owning to the chief limestone-gypsum FGD equipments are mostly imported from the abroad presently. This text arranged an orthogonal experiment and two single factors experiments to study the oxidation mechanisms of calcium sulfite in heterogeneous condition, using laboratory scale equipment s,study the relation between each factors and the microcosmic reactive dynamics.Based on this experimental system, the optimal processing parameters are founded and as follows:S concentration keeps less than 0.005 mol L-1, reactive time about 2 hours, pH is 5.0, temperature is 55 ℃, stirred rate is 450 r min-1, the solid content is 7%,under that circumstance will occur 1 mg L-1 SO2 in the emiting air. This experiment used tervalent iron ion and bivalent manganese ion as the catalyst, discovered manganese salt catalyst effect is better at low concentration, when on high concentration ferric chloride take the place of bivalent manganese chloride.
