The reviewing paper mainly discussed the current technology of formation enhancement implemented in Mobei Oil Field, and the corollary techniques. Due to the characteristics of low burial depth, low pressure, low permeability, strong water-sensitivity, heterogeneity, and high closure pressure, appropriate fracturing technology and corollary techniques should be brought into use in the aspect of formation enhancement. It is necessary to study the compatible fracturing fluid system, corresponding fracturing down hole strings, well head, proppant, formation stress and orientation of hydraulic fracture. The following researches have been finished in the paper:Formation geographic study (formation stress and orientation of hydraulic fracture), proppant selection, fast clean up, fracturing fluid study, corollary fracturing down hole strings and well head protector.The following results were acquired: the studied fluid system is capable to meet the need of fracturing treatment in the perplexing formation of Mobei Oil Field. Sound oil production improvement has been acquired. High temperature low friction oil-base fracturing fluid and high temperature surfactant fracturing fluid was first used in the formation with depth of more than 4000m in China.The fluid cleanup rate has been increased by utilizing fluid fast clean up technology. Formation damage was depressed, and thus the effect of fracturing treatment has was improved.The rule of hydraulic fracture extension in the formation of Mobei Oil Field has been studiedmore clear, proppant that adapt to the situation of the area has been selected.Large drift diameter 350mm well head and correspondent well head protector has been brought into use.Through the above work, the current problems of fracturing treatment in the perplexing formation of Mobei Oil Field was primarily resolved. A foundation has been put down for the stable oil production of Mobei Oil Field.
