| As main field of our country be in a medium or late term of exploitation, oil and natural gas fields' exploratory development developed continuously to high temperature, high pressure and complicated deep subterranean formation, the old field's water capacity is rising, the contradiction between oil layer has been aggravated. All of this make some work like layered oil withdrawal, water injection and fracture acidizing faced more problems. The present packer's performance can not satisfy the demand of production. At present, the main problems are that the packer's press ability is low, the seating process is complicated, the sealing performance is poor, the rubber can not be able to bear high temperature, the using lifetime is short, the maintenance invest is great, which seriously infect the oil fields' ordinary production and economic benefit's improvement. However, the present packer's research of our country is separated and can't have a standard. The most packer's design copy the overseas structure, the theory research have not breakthrough and make our country's packer designing, manufacture and using level to be limited. So the research about packer's working mechanism need to be developed urgently and find out the theory basis and method how to improve the pecker's working performance. In this paper, on the bases of packer system's research fruit at home and abroad, uniting the JiangHan Oil Withdrawal Technology Research Institute's production fact, starting from the system's angel, through setting up packer system linear and non-linear contact finite element analyzing models the packer system's working action simulating research are developed by the way of compute simulating technic combined with production fact, which provide the new theory reference and method for analyzing the packer's down-hole working performance and designing new type of packer. The paper's main contents come from the science research named the Structure Optimizing and Working Action Simulating Research of Down-hole Packer that are developed by South West Petroleum Institute and JiangHan Oil Withdrawal Technology Research Institute that is a subcompany of China Petrochemical Corporation in JiangHan oil field. The detail research works are as follows:1. On the basis of collecting the study actuality at home and abroad, analyzing the packer's basic structure, working mechanism and the exiting problem in using process, bring forward the concrete research project about down-hole packer working action simulating combined with the packer research practice of JiangHan Oil Withdrawal Technology Research Institute;2. The statics analysis on packer's seating, sealing, release sealing process is completed. On this basis, setting up the three-dimensional solid models using the mechanical modern designing and analyzing software Pro/E and the kinematics analysis and interfere check are done, verifying the packer structure's rationality;3. On the basis of setting up the packer solid models, the finite element analysis to the packer's mainstrained parts are done using Pro/E's finite element analyzing module Pro/Mechanica, optimizing the structure of the parts;4. The mechanics performance experiment to the four rubber materials of packer that are provided by JiangHan Oil Withdrawal Technology Research Institute have been completed using Fuel Gas Turbine Academy of China's SB802 heat& machine compositive fatigue tester. The mechanics performance of four rubber materials under different load and temperature condition have been determined and the rubber materials' constitutive relation models have been gained, which provide the requisite material parameter for establishing the packer system's finite element simulating models;5. For setting up scientific and rational finite element models, the rational simplification to the packer system is completed and the twenty-two parts' discretization are realized according to the finite element analyzing demand.
