UV-Curing, waterborne material presents a novel class of Radiation-curable material. Advantages of water-based radiation curing include lower cost, lower viscosity, sprayability, easier clean-up, lower flammability, lower toxicity, lower skin irritancy and lower odor. Just because these advantages, it has been the most attractive research and application areas and the green environmental product for 21st century.In this article, TDI , PPO210/PPO220 , DMPA and HEA were used to produce UV-Curing water-based polyurethane acrylic resin(PUA); epoxy acrylic resin and 1, 2, 4-benzenetricarboxylic anhydride were also used to produce UV-Curing water-based epoxy acrylic resin(B-EA). Synthesis of the above two resins were studied , their water-solubility .. UV-Curing speed , mechanical properties were also studied. In addition, properties of B-EA blended with PUA were preliminarily discussed.Factors having effects on the synthesis of PUA, including structure of diol, content of DMPA, reaction temperature, were discussed . The effects of reaction time and temperature on the synthesis of B-EA were also studied . Better synthetic conditions were achieved.Tests of fundamental properties for the above two resins showed that different neutralizer and neutralizing extent, content of carboxy group, ratio of functional group, structure of diol and molecular weights of diol are factors having effects on water-solubility of resin ; when content of DMPA and HEA are increased, UV-Curing speed of PUA is enhanced ; the more content of 1, 2, 4-benzenetricarboxylic anhydride, the lower UV-Curing speed of B-EA ; when the extent of microphase separation is intensified, tensile strength is enhanced.Preliminary study on B-EA blended with PUA showed there is considerable compatibility between the two resins system, at the same time, mechenical properties and UV-Curing speed of blended system are improved. The realization of this blended system provided good properties of PUA and B-EA, so it is important for developing novel radiation-curable products.
