Recently, for overcoming the disadvantage of emulsifier, people concentrated on the development of the soap-free emulsion, which was the process with no emulsifier or only trace emulsifier. The soap-free emulsion polymerization owned much advantages such as clearness of the particle and excellent monodispersity, and was widely used in the field of optics, physic, biology and chemical engineering etc.In the second sector of the dissertation, the water-soluble lamination adhesive was prepared by the way of emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization. Further research were carried out in detail about the factors such as monomer mass ratio, the content of AMPS and AA, amount of initiator, stir speed and reaction temperature. The morphology and properties of the particles were also charactered by IR, DSC and TEM.In the third sector of the dissertation, an aqueous polyurethane-polyacrylate (PUA) hybrid emulsion with core-shell structure was prepared by core-shell emulsion polymerization from toluene diisocyanate(TDI), polyether binary alcohol (N210), dimethylol propionic acid (DMPA) and vinyl monomers etc. The morphology and properties of composite particles were studied with TEM, TG, IR etc. The results showed that the composited particles size with core-shell structure were much bigger than that of the PU, and solvent resistance, water resistance, heat-resistance properties, tensile strength were also greatly increased.
