People spend more than 80% of their lives indoors. Indoor air quality (IAQ) has great effect on human health and productivity. Available researches show that IAQ problems in numerous buildings are severe. It is significant to study IAQ control in buildings.The significant and control methods of IAQ are analyzed in this dissertation. One effective method to improve IAQ is presented. The corresponding program is made to analyzed the feasibility and economy of the method. And comprehensive assessment of the method is made by applying fuzzy mathematics. The character dates of activated carbon for absorbing low density poisonous gas are obtained through experiment. Design method and selection criteria for the equipment are presented. The control strategy of demand controlled ventilation basing on IAQ is presented.
