This article introduced polymer substrate waste composite material and the background-research of coupling agents in this material. According to the influences of different fillers and different matrix to the waste composite material, we could decide the best filler and the optimum quantity. And based it, the article studied the influences of different coupling agents on the waste composites, and further decided the optimum quantity of the coupling agents.In this article, foundry waste sand, quartz sand and dust were the fillers, waste agricultural film and HDPE were the matrix resins. Two coupling agents were used, there were silicone coupling agents and titanate coupling agents. In this paper, we had studied the influence of filler kinds, filler quantity, filler particle size distribution, matrix resins kinds, coupling agents' kind and coupling agent quantity to the waste composite materials. Based the best kind and the optimum quantity of coupling agents, we had studied the influence of glass fiber to the waste sand/waste agriculture film composites materials. The infrared spectroscopy analyzed the microstructure characteristic of the polymer substrate waste composite material.Based of the composition, the effection sequence of the fillers were quartz sand > dust > foundry waste sand. And on the fundamental composition of the foundry waste sand/waste agricultural film, we decided the optimum quantity of the silicane coupling and titanate coupling was 1.5%~2%. The experimental results showed that the modified efficiency of titanate coupling agent A was the highest, and of silicane coupling agentwas 3 was the lowest. The experiments were proved that the coupling agents had important influence on the rigidity and dimensional stability of the waste composite material.At the same time, we had a preliminary test on using the dust intensifying the unsaturated polyester resin. The test indicated that the bending strength of composite materials was maximal when the mass ratio of dust/ unsaturated polyester resin was 4~4.5.
